About Ayurveda

Ayurveda is an ancient and profound knowledge system that focuses on life sciences, health, and treatment. It has its roots in the Vedas which makes it eternal in nature.

Ayurveda has two main goals:

Promoting good health for those who are already healthy and
Treating diseases for those who are unwell.

This system encompasses a vast array of information about diet, lifestyle, and various medical interventions. Which provide guidelines to achieve these goals. Attaining optimal health is not a simple task and cannot be achieved through a one-size-fits-all approach. Ayurveda recognizes this complexity and offers holistic strategies tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

Unlike relying solely on single herbs for specific ailments, Ayurveda focuses on treatment principles that not only alleviate symptoms but also address the underlying causes of the disease. It aims to break the chain of disease causation from its root.

Ayurveda consists of eight specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, eye and ENT, pediatrics, toxicology, andrology, gynecology- obstetrics and more. This comprehensive “science of life” has been practiced for over 5000 years and has proven its effectiveness over time.
